Get Growth, Value and Income – All in One Pick

Market Wake-Up Call

Watch Video

From Baltimore – Sometimes in life we lose sight of the forest because of all the trees in the way.

It can happen to us as investors, too. We often carry around multiple mental buckets, over-categorizing our investment choices to the point where we lose sight of our ultimate portfolio goals.

Here’s what I mean…

Do you have a mental “risk” bucket? When you consider making an investment, do you ask yourself, “Is this high, medium or low risk?”

Sure! We all do. But then…

Do you also consider a “time” bucket? Do you ask, “Is this a long-term or short-term pick?” You’re not alone if you do.

Next, do you consider how each investment fits into your “sector/allocation” bucket? For example, do you ask, “Is this part of my tech holdings, my emerging market holdings, my energy holdings or my commodity holdings?”

And finally, you probably contemplate the ever-important “strategy” bucket, asking, “Am I looking for growth, value or income with this pick? And which strategy is best for me now, given current market conditions?”

That’s a lot of buckets. It’s no wonder that juggling all of them can fluster our planning and decision-making process.

That’s why a lot of experts believe you should pick just one strategy at a time – be it growth, value or income – and stick with it.

An All-in-One Strategy

But what if you could access a system that gives you picks that combine the best of each of these strategy goals?

Imagine being able to identify stocks that were seeing massive growth… were trading at the perfect value… AND could potentially deliver incredible income

You’d certainly have it much easier.

That’s exactly why it gives me tremendous pleasure to talk today on Market Wake-Up Call with Andy Snyder, founder of Manward Press, a Pillar One Advisor for The Oxford Club. I’ve worked with Andy in the financial publishing industry for decades now. I trust his expertise completely, as well as his uncanny ability to partner with some of the smartest entrepreneurs in the business.

Today, Andy tells us why he’s formed a new partnership with legendary stock expert Alpesh Patel.

Alpesh is an absolutely fascinating figure. He founded a hedge fund that has managed hundreds of millions of dollars. He’s the senior-most Dealmaker for the U.K.’s Department of International Trade, where he led an effort to deliver $1.1 billion in investments since 2005. Alpesh was even honored as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth herself.

Alpesh has built a stellar international reputation working with top-brass investors from around the world. Yet today, perhaps because of his humble origins, his focus is on helping everyday investors.

In today’s video, Andy talks with me about how Alpesh created proprietary formulas that target the best-ranked stocks in the world – based on their growth, value and income metrics. He calls his research the Growth-Value-Income (GVI) system. Manward Press recently launched a trading research service based on it, and – best of all – it’s run by Alpesh.

For example, one of the secrets Alpesh uses to find both growth and value in one company is to first debunk how most value investors use the price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio. He says they often get this concept wrong due to the belief that great “value” means having the lowest P/E ratio possible. (Hint: It doesn’t.)

Then, Alpesh adds the income component using a special valuation tool typically reserved for the world’s wealthiest investors, called CROCI, or cash return on capital invested.

Goldman Sachs began offering the CROCI tool to its wealthiest clients in the 2000s. And research from its quantum division shows that companies in the top quartile of CROCI ratings beat the market by more than 550%.

CROCI is something very few investors know about, but it has been crucial to Alpesh’s success.

And to keep his investing approach relatively low risk, Alpesh employs the same recommended exit strategy for his portfolio recommendations that our strategists often use at the Club: the 25% trailing stop strategy.

Hmmm… maybe Alpesh has been reading our Club publications…

Alpesh was a Visiting Fellow at Oxford University. And he should be an Oxford Club Member, but surprisingly he has no connection to The Oxford Club. In fact, I have never met Alpesh, and so I’m jealous that Andy and his team found him first!

Listen to today’s Market Wake-Up Call to learn more about why Andy pursued Alpesh, why I’m absolutely thrilled he did and how the unique tools Alpesh employs in his GVI system could potentially change the way you invest for the better – far better!
