Welcoming This Income-Generating Guru to the Club

From the Baltimore Clubhouse – The Oxford Club is growing.

In the March issue of The Oxford Income Letter, we introduced the newest addition to our esteemed cadre of experts, Karim Rahemtulla.

Or as we should say, “welcomed back.”

You see, Karim is no stranger to the Club.

Almost 20 years ago, he acted as our Investment Director. Karim even launched the Club’s first income-generating service to use options.

His covered call service had a win rate of more than 80%.

Since then, he’s been traveling the world looking for the best investing opportunities…

Last year alone, he visited South Africa, Russia, China, India, Nicaragua, Panama and Colombia. (But what else would you expect from the guy who penned the best-seller Where in the World Should I Invest?)

Yet although he’s a master of foreign investing, Karim’s true passion is options. He is regarded within the industry as an innovator in options trading, with strategies ranging from income to aggressive speculation. On such merits, CNBC dubbed him a “market maven.”

One of our favorite Karim stories is how he played General Electric options during the financial crisis. At the time, its price was in the single digits.

But Karim knew this was a big opportunity.

So he found a low-risk option trade that allowed him to collect $3,000 instantly… and gave him the chance to buy GE at a discount. A win-win situation.

Now, as our new Options Strategist, Karim is hunting similar conservative, income-generating plays for Members. He summed it up well in his Oxford Income Letter article…

“[There’s] a place where income generation occurs on a daily basis… A corner of the market where you can make hundreds or even thousands of dollars at a time just by understanding a few simple strategies… techniques the professional investment world wants to keep secret from you.

“It is, of course, the options market.”

Needless to say, we’re thrilled to have Karim back on board. We’ll be putting his passion for foreign investing and outside-the-box options strategies to good use.

I have only been an Oxford Club Member for less than four months, but from the beginning, I dove in headfirst and I have been reading everything I can…

A month ago, I decided to get into options, but knew very little about them. 

Hopefully Karim will have the time to build some tutorials for options.

Karim will be writing more educational articles for Wealthy Retirement and The Oxford Income Letter. He’s also working on a new project that contains educational videos on how to execute options trades. He’ll talk more about that in the Market Wake-Up Call on Sunday, March 26.
