** New Profits In Marvell Technology
We hit our sell stop on Marvell Technology (Nasdaq: MRVL) Friday, locking in another short-term double-digit gain.
Plus our POSCO February $55 calls (PKX-BK) have doubled in less than a month. Go ahead and sell half now to lock in some profits. We’ll let the rest ride for potentially bigger gains down the road.
We’re seeing good growth elsewhere in our international portfolio too. Norwegian oil producer Statoil (NYSE: STO), for example, hit a new 52-week high on Thursday.
And Brazil’s Companhia Rio (NYSE: RIO) is hitting a new 52-week high today. We now have a 57% short-term gain here. Move your sell stop up to $40 protect your profits.
And consider picking up some shares of Credicorp (NYSE: BAP) today.
Based in Lima, Peru, Credicorp provides financial services throughout Peru, Bolivia and Columbia. The company currently has over 400 branches and specializes in commercial banking services (such as savings accounts, credit cards, commercial loans, and mortgages), as well as auto, home and life insurance, as well as investment banking services, including corporate underwriting, brokerage services and asset management.
Financial measures are all top-notch. Operating margins are 33.7%. Quarterly revenue growth (year over year) is 22.9%. And management is earning a respectable 16% return on equity.
Traders and investors are beginning to sit up and take notice. Shares are up 86% over the last 52 weeks. And average volume has picked up 61% over the last ten days.
With South America’s emerging economies on the mend – due to higher commodity prices and free market reforms – the outlook for this financial services firm remains highly positive.
***Action to Take***
Buy Credicorp (NYSE: BAP) at $27 or better. And place a sell stop at $22 for protection. There are no options on this one for speculators to consider.
