David Melnik, Queen’s council in Toronto, had his own law firm from 1962 until 1976 when he became president and chief officer of Vanguard Trust of Canada Limited in Toronto. From 1978 to 1985 he served as policy advisor to Frank Miller, who later became the Premier of Ontario. Mr. Melnik has been an instructor in the Masters of Business programs at the business schools of both the University of Toronto and York University. He is also the director of a number of Canadian and U.S. corporations, and currently serves on the Board of Governors for The Oxford Club.
